These days, I find joy in what I call “busy doing nothing.”
In previous times I used to be inundated with busyness of meeting clients, coaching clients, training leaders and so on.
Now I’ve come to appreciate the value of taking 3 steps back in “doing nothing”
Actually, “doing nothing” isn’t about being idle; it’s about embracing the clarity that comes from focusing on what matters most which requires a quiet state of mind.
For quite a few months now, I’ve immersed myself in sharing my thoughts, experiences and perspectives through my writing.
Many of you would have noticed this already as I am more frequent in doing this- almost everyday whenever I have an inspiration.
This reflective practice allows me to express my thoughts without the distractions of ‘everyday chaos’.
When my mind is clear and empty, I find it easier to reflect on almost anything.
The beauty of this is there are friends out there who can resonate with them, perhaps even learning from each other on the same thought.
In these moments of stillness, I discover insights and inspiration that fuel my creativity.
Writing has now a valuable hobby, pursuit, activity, whatever you call it.
They are the foundation for my deeper connections with richer ideas.
I am really enjoying the slowing down at this stage of my life of “busy doing nothing”.
